Thursdays at Galilee
will discontinue
from 26th July (inc)
and resume Thursday 6th September.

Sonnet 18 - Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

The Team at Galilee hope that Galilee has something to offer that can meet your need and enrich life. If you have a suggestion of ways that we might reach out to you or others please share those ideas with us. We are living in a time of great change, a time when hate, harshness, homelessness and hunger are happening all around us. What can we do? What change needs to take place in me so that I may meet people and situations with compassion, care and responsibility. We hope you are able to take personal time to avail of the space that Galilee provides or to sign up for some of the programmes offered.
